Breakfast Club

The before school enrichment club runs Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 8.40am by three of our teaching assistants; Mrs Dagger, Mrs Rolls and Mrs Stenton. The children are able to take part in a range of activities including art, ICT, reading and lots more.

The cost per day is currently £4.00.  Breakfast is served for children arriving before 8am, which includes cereal or toast with a drink.

Between 7.30am and 8.00am children should be dropped off at the rear hallway door. After 8.00am children should be dropped off at the back door of Ladybirds classroom. Bookings are made via scopay, and should be made at least 2 days in advance, however, some days sessions are fully booked, so we advise booking a term at a time.  We are unable to accept children who arrive on the day who are not booked in, the only exception to this is a family emergency (e.g. a family member being taken ill).

After School Enrichment Club

Our after school club is there to provide support for working parents. The club is run by a group of our teaching assistants and the children can participate in activities such as art, board games and reading.

The first session is 3.05pm until 4.15pm, the second session is 4.15pm until 5.30pm.  There are two sessions on each day Monday - Friday.  You can book one or two sessions, or if your child is attending an after school activity club, you can book the second session only.

The cost per session is currently £4.00 for the first session, and £4.50 for the second session, which includes a snack and a drink, or children may bring their own snack if preferred.

The children are taken to the club at the end of the school day.  The pick up point is Ladybirds class.  The children use the school grounds when there is good weather so may not be in the classroom, so please only pick up at the end of each session, not part way through a session so you know where to find them!  Please arrive promptly to collect your child; persistent late collections can result in the second session being charged, or a late collection fee added to your account.

Activity Clubs - bookable every two terms

At Walwayne Court we strive to offer a wide range of clubs to all the children.  Some of our clubs are provided by outside agencies while others are run by school staff.  Towards the end of each term a letter informing parents of the clubs available for the forthcoming terms will be sent home which need to returned before the end of the term so that places can be allocated.  We try to ensure that all those children who wish to attend a club will be offered at least one club of their choice.  Clubs in the past have included football, netball, multi skills, dance, art, mindfulness, magic and many more!  An updated list can be obtained via the school office.
